Clients will sometimes ask what I like best among fabric choices. I typically only bring them fabrics I like within the confines of their taste. Recently I did a living room in shades of brown and tan.
For this all-brown project, I focused on creative ways of putting together pattern and texture which is something I can get excited about. I’m not interested in living in a house that’s tan or brown, but if clients are, and it’s beautiful for them, I am happy to create the most beautiful tan and brown room for them. Taste is hugely personal; there are many versions of beautiful.
It gives me satisfaction to figure out how to make it work for clients and how to bring happiness to clients' lives.
